OneHubPOS is a leading Point-of-Sale (POS) company expanding into the Indian market. We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development and maintenance of our robust and secure India-specific payment stack. This critical role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless and reliable payment processing for our growing customer base in India.

As a Senior Engineering Manager at OneHubPOS, your Primary Responsibilities will include:
Technical Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for the India payment stack
- Ensure alignment with business goals and industry best practices
- Lead engineering team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the payment stack, including integrations with various payment gateways, processors, and acquiring banks.
- Stay updated of the evolving Indian payment landscape, including regulations, technologies (UPI, BharatPe, etc.), and emerging trends.
- Understand current product and competition in the POS + Payments solutions in India to guide the team for a scalable solution for the future.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the payment stack, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of payment processing systems, including authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and fraud prevention.
Strong expertise in relevant technologies:
- Payment Gateways: Integrations with major Indian payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe)
- UPI: Deep understanding and experience with UPI integration and optimization
- Banking Integrations: Experience with integrating with Indian banks and their APIs
- Data Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of PCI DSS and other relevant security standards and regulations in India.
- Experience with building and maintaining scalable and high-performance payment systems.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Drive team performance and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks.
- Make sound technical decisions based on data and analysis.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and debug complex payment processing issues.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Engineering Manager, Team Lead).
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining payment processing systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian payment landscape and regulations.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
